FLUTEK,Ltd. (CEO Yeng-ho Yoon), a shipbuilding and marine equipment company, achieved the 5,000th steering gear milestone and held a meeting with major shipyards in Korea to commemorate their achievements.

FLUTEK,Ltd. announced on April 30 (Thursday) that it held a "celebration ceremony to achieve the 5,000th steering gear milestone" at Grand Ballroom Hall in Changwon, Grand Mercure Ambassador. 

The event was organized to celebrate the achievement of the production of FLUTEK's technology and production capabilities and to strengthen cooperation with shipyards that have supported the global competitiveness of the Korean shipbuilding industry. The event was attended by 16 executives and officials in charge of purchasing major domestic shipyards, including ▲HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering ▲ HD Hyundai Samho ▲ Samsung Heavy Industries ▲ Hanwha Ocean. 

The ceremony began with a progress report on FLUTEK's growth, followed by a speech, a guest congratulatory speech, and a delivery of a plaque of appreciation. During the following dinner and networking sessions, participants exchanged in-depth opinions on mutual cooperation measures and sustainable partnerships to cope with the rapidly changing global shipbuilding and marine market.

 The steering gear, a key equipment that controls the direction of ships, requires a high level of reliability as it is directly related to operational safety. The industry evaluates FLUTEK's achievement of 5,000 ships as an example of the solid technology and manufacturing competitiveness of the domestic shipbuilding equipment industry.
